ManyVids' Bella French Addresses '90 Day Fiancé' Incident

MONTREAL — ManyVids has issued a statement regarding recent events involving a couple from the reality TV show, “90-day Fiancé.”

The company’s CEO, Bella French, was saddened to learn that married couple Larissa and Colt were allegedly in a physical altercation over allegations that Colt was accessing adult videos on ManyVids, saying, “any account of aggression, especially domestic violence, is troubling and should never be tolerated.”

“We are dismayed to discover that this unfortunate situation was incited by the discovery of the husband’s watching of adult content on ManyVids.com,” French states. “Viewing and enjoying pornography is a healthy and natural activity. It’s the social shame and guilt placed on the act that is unhealthy and is unfortunately mirrored in how we perceive and treat sex workers.

“Our mandate has always been one of transparency; to shed a positive light on those who choose to work in the adult entertainment industry,” French adds. “Porn is not a dirty secret accessed by the few; we must all stand proud of who we are, and we encourage an open, sex-positive dialogue in which couples and individuals can feel safe to access and enjoy porn.”

According to the company, ManyVids is the fastest growing adult community in the world with more than 2.2 million active members and more than 22,000 independent content creators on its e-commerce platform producing, promoting and distributing content via video hosting and live streaming services.

The site is heavily invested in philanthropic initiatives designed to transform the adult industry and offer a platform where adult workers can thrive independently, fighting for gender equality and speaking out against violence and abuse perpetrated against performers.
